Announcement

Want to become a published author?

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS 2015:
We currently seek contributors from around the country, and ask for work produced by students whilst studying at a New Zealand University. Submissions should be 3,000-10,000 words in length, and should present a thoroughly researched discussion on an area of law. The Journal welcomes articles that address topical, historical, theoretical and controversial issues.

Successful submissions will be published in the 2015 NZLSJ, and the writer of the best research article will receive a $500 prize. Please note: compliance with the New Zealand Law Style Guide will significantly enhance the article’s chance of selection. The deadline for submissions is May 11th 2015, 5pm. Submissions should be emailed to James Watson at editorinchief.nzlsj@gmail.com.

CALL FOR STUDENT REVIEW BOARD AND ACADEMIC REVIEW BOARD MEMBERS 2015:
The NZLSJ is also currently recruiting members to be a part of our Student Review Board and Academic Review Board. The Student Review Board undertakes the reviewing of articles submitted for Journal consideration, and provides feedback and advice on those submissions. This position does not involve regular meetings, but can cater to your specific research areas, and provides excellent experience in the revision and review of academic writing.

If you wish to join the Student Review Board please contact Elijah Pear, our Student Review Board Manager, at srb.nzlsj.2015@gmail.com.

If you are an academic interested in supporting and nurturing future leading legal minds, contact Sarah at arb.2015.nzlsj@gmail.com about the Academic Review Board.

If you have any further enquiries about the NZLSJ, please email Yasmin at secretary.nzlsj.2015@gmail.com or James Watson at editorinchief.nzlsj@gmail.com.
